The Tech Forum at the Hospitality Summit stands for knowledge exchange, know-how transfer, and discovering new opportunities around hotel technology, distribution, and dealing with OTAs. The format is the evolution of the established Swiss Innovation Day, which was successfully conducted eight times by the SHS Academy. The new Tech Forum is the result of close collaboration between HotellerieSuisse and the SHS Academy.
The Hospitality Summit brings together numerous hoteliers, decision-makers, investors, and industry experts every year. The Tech Forum offers hospitality tech companies an ideal platform to showcase innovations, present new solutions, and position themselves in the Swiss hotel and tourism market.
Startups, investors, and executives from the hotel industry have the opportunity to exchange ideas with tech providers, experts, and specialists, discover new solutions, and discuss current tech trends, developments, and digitalisation opportunities in hospitality.
Schedule
The Tech Forum takes place on the second day of the Hospitality Summit and offers several opportunities for exchange and inspiration. The day begins with the “Meet the Techies” session in the Tech Zone, where visitors can get to know the tech providers at the all-in-one stands, ask questions, and network in a relaxed atmosphere.
Later in the morning, there are short tech presentations on the Tech Forum stage, before the day concludes in the afternoon with a panel discussion on current technology topics in hospitality.
